Vertical Semi-Continuous Copper Melting Furnace Overview
Structural Design & Construction
This vertical structure furnace features a robust shell constructed from U-steel and figured steel welding, ensuring exceptional strength and rigidity. The interior lining utilizes fireproof fiber felt, refractory bricks, quartz sand filling material, and high alumina bricks for the furnace head construction.
Operational Features
The furnace top includes a charge hole for material loading. The entire furnace body rests on cast iron bearing chocks and rotates via a turning axle system. Copper sleeves minimize friction between axle and chocks during operation. Hydraulic tilting mechanism enables precise pouring of molten metal into the crystallizer.
Casting System
The upper caster section consists of a welded box supporting the crystallizer carriage. Hoisting mechanism options include hydraulic or lead screw types. The crystallizer carriage features welded steel construction with four rotary wheels at the bottom for smooth operation.
