Electrolytic copper plates (99.9% purity) are fed into melting furnaces through charging equipment. The copper melts in W-type inductors, flows through transition storage to holding furnaces, undergoes surface reduction with charcoal covering, and is rapidly crystallized into cast copper rods through the upcast plant crystallizer.
