AISI310S 3/4" Depth Hexmetal refractory lining | 2.0mm Thickness | 36" X 120"
Hesly's Hex Metal Grating is a hexagonal cellular mesh grating specifically designed for reinforcing both linings and flooring. It acts as a surface framework to hold cement or refractory in position, and relieves stress in the lining's upper crust, which prevents spalling and cracking. As a result of Hex Metal's strength and unique design, abrasion and corrosion are retarded and refractory life is significantly extended. Even hot gaseous substances cannot erode the surface material because they are reflected away from the surface by the metal cellular grid.

Hexsteel: Bonding Hole Type Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another. |
Hex-metal: Pronges/Lances Type this style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory.

HESLY Hexsteel Applications
Process plant which is subject to the passage of erosive gas streams, especially at high temperature, benefit by cladding with Hexmetal infilled with erosion resistant refractories. Typical applications include Cyclones, Flue Gas Lines, Reactor Vessels, Windboxes, Fan Casings, Burner Quarls: in fact any vessel or section that is subject to erosion or abrasion.

The flexibility, high strength and erosion resistant characteristics of Hexmesh make it an excellent choice for refractory linings in furnaces, reactors, cyclones, ducts and flues.
FOR FLOORS
Hexmesh provides long term protection for armor applications inside industrial floors. Specifically, loading docks, ramps, high traffic aisles for forklifts and trucks.
