Test Method Overview
A strip of tape is unrolled at controlled speed and applied to a standard steel plate. The plate is mounted vertically in an adjustable heating furnace with a standard weight suspended at the free end. The furnace temperature increases steadily at 0.5℃/min, and shear failure time is measured.
