Co-Extrusion Process
Co-extrusion involves sending two or more molten raw materials through a single die to produce multi-layer pipes with various colors or wall thicknesses. This process combines multiple plastics to create materials with distinct properties, opening new frontiers in material engineering and addressing complex manufacturing needs. Co-extrusion also reduces costs by incorporating recycled and reground scrap within virgin material for applications like handrails, fences, tubing, structural components, and air-blown food containers.
Production Line Features
This multi-layer extrusion line is primarily designed for producing PP-R pipes and is also suitable for PERT, PB, and PE-X resin pipes. The equipment incorporates advanced technology with ABB inverters and motors. The single screw extruder delivers high-speed production capabilities.
