ASTM A975 Hot Dipped Galvanized Gabion Baskets 2-4m Length for Erosion Control and Riverbank Protection
ASTM A975 Standard Hot Dipped Galvanized gabion baskets are engineered for superior erosion control applications. Manufactured from 8x10 double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh, these baskets form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures when filled with stones at the project site.
Heavy Galfan (zinc-5% aluminum-mischmetal alloy) coated soft temper steel wire with optional PVC coating for additional protection in aggressive environments. All components are mechanically connected at the production facility for structural integrity.
Maximum tensile strength: 75,000 psi (515 MPa) as per ASTM A856-03, soft temper steel.
