Vicarb Plate Heat Exchanger V4-V280 Series for HVAC, Marine & Industrial Applications
A plate heat exchanger utilizes metal plates to efficiently transfer heat between two fluids. This design provides significant advantages over conventional heat exchangers by exposing fluids to a much larger surface area as they spread across the plates.
Channels formed between the plates and strategically arranged corner ports enable the two media to flow through alternate channels. Heat transfers through the plates between channels, creating complete counter-current flow for maximum thermal efficiency. The plate corrugations provide passageways between plates, support adjacent plates, and enhance turbulence for optimal heat transfer performance.
