This resonant tester is widely used for Capacitive Voltage Transformer (under 500KV) on-site test.

1. The output voltage waveform is good, distortion <0.5%.

2. Need small capacitance, the required capacitance is 1/Q of the measured capacitance, and the value of Q could be 20-60.

3. No need for over-current protection, the system would be detuned if the measuring equipment was broken through, the high voltage of the resonant boost device will lose, the reactor will limit the short circuit current immediately, would not add damage to the measuring equipment.
