Processing Technology
The vacuum pressure impregnation process follows this sequence:
- Extract vacuum from treatment chamber
- Hold vacuum and add wood treatment medicament
- Activate pressurizing pump after reaching liquid level
- Maintain required pressure to infuse medicament into wood cells
- Pressure unloading and reagent discharge
- Secondary vacuum extraction
- Restore atmospheric pressure
- Open tank door and remove treated wood
