For coring tube installation: Buckle the lifter into the groove of the variable diameter joint, move the winch handle to take the pad fork, install the core tube, and lower the drilling tool into the borehole at uniform speed.
Soil samples can be taken year-round, but consistency in sampling time is recommended. Late summer or early fall is ideal for most crops, allowing time for pH adjustment before planting.
