Operation Guidelines
Pre-Operation Preparation
- Ensure clean drilling site with sufficient space and proper ventilation
- Verify adequate water supply, power availability, and hose length
- Properly install and secure column structure to support drilling rig
- Adjust frame height and angle according to drilling requirements
Operation Procedure
- Verify spindle rotation matches gearbox arrow direction
- Run machine for 5 minutes in neutral before operation
- Install drill pipe and bit, connect utilities, and align the hole
- Begin drilling with gradual clutch engagement
- For depth adjustment, quickly reverse handwheel to stop progress
- Always return handwheel to neutral position after operation
Maintenance Requirements
- Regularly check wind motor lubricant levels
- Inspect all bolts, nuts, and pipeline connections for tightness
- For underwater operations, position drill pipe 1-2m above water surface
- Never reverse during operation to prevent drill pipe loss
- Apply minimal air pressure during short pauses to prevent sediment ingress
- Immediately investigate any abnormal sounds or operation issues
