Single spring balance mechanical seals are pusher type seals and unbalanced multiple spring mechanical shaft seals generally used where high pressure sealing required. Due to its compact radial and axial dimensions these seals required lower stuffing box space for installation. Multiple spring design ensures uniform loading of seal face and components for acceptable shaft misalignment. These multiple spring shaft seals can be used with different equipment that has rotating shafts such as pumps, mixers and agitators.
