Mechanical Tubing End Locator For Wireline / Slickline Operation

The Mechanical Tubing End Locator is a device for location of nipple profiles and/or the end of the production tubing. The tubing end locator is used to mechanically locate and determine the actual depth of the tubing end in relation to the measured wireline depth. The tubing end locator is composed of a grooved body and a locating key loaded by spring and fixed by pin in it. A shear pin limits the outward movement and rotation of the locating key. When the tubing end locator appears at the end of oil pipe, the locating key will stop at the location approximately vertical to the body to prevent the locator at the end of oil pipe from entering into the oil again,
