Full bore annulus pressure-operated re-closable circulating valve designed for TCP operations in downhole service. This valve can be opened and closed multiple times by cycling annulus pressure.

The OMNI valve is a full bore, annulus pressure-operated re-closable circulating valve that can be opened and closed multiple times through repeated annulus pressure cycling. Suitable for formation testing in cased holes, oil tube tradition perforating tube string testing, and combined perforation with full-opening formation testing operations.

For tubing conveyed perforating before test completion, the tool string includes TCP gun, packer, and by-pass valve with the OMNI valve integrated. The valve enables tubing testing via annulus pressure and ensures negative pressure for perforating operations. After perforating, oil and gas begin flowing. During well killing operations, the valve can be operated repeatedly to circulate completion fluids in circulating position while maintaining oil and gas flow in test position, allowing adjustment of completion fluid specific gravity to control the oil well. The packer remains in setting position throughout, enhancing safety during well killing processes.
