The 5\" 15000 PSI Downhole Select Tester Valve is a full-opening, annulus-pressure-operated valve designed for drill stem testing operations in cased holes. This advanced tool enables multiple downhole closures where pipe manipulation is restricted and can be locked open for various well service operations.

Operation Principle
The tool is typically run in the closed position. After packer setting, annulus pressure activates the tester valve. The spring-loaded ball valve remains normally closed, with spring force maintaining closure. Additional annulus pressure opens the valve, while pressure release triggers closure. The nitrogen chamber maintains pressure balance through hydrostatic pressure equalization across upper and lower pistons.
