RTTS Retrievable Casing Packer for Drill Stem Testing
The RTTS Packer is a full bore retrievable packer with mechanical setting specifically designed for Full Bore Drill Stem Testing (DST) and Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP) operations. This hookwall type packer provides bidirectional pressure segregation and features full opening design for unrestricted fluid flow and tool movement through the tubing bore.
Key Operational Features
- Pressure balanced bypass valve prevents swabbing effect during running and retrieving
- Allows debris washing from packer top during release operations
- Bypass valve (RTTS circulating valve) held closed by pressure from below to prevent upward tubing movement
- Parts interchangeable with Halliburton Type RTTS packers
