KCF Ceramic Guide Pin Electrodes for Resistance Welding with 20-30μm Insulated Surface and Tapered Tip Design
KCF Guide Pins and Sleeves have been used in resistance welding applications for several decades. The KCF material is not a coating but the actual base material - a ferritic stainless alloy enhanced with chromium, aluminum, and other special elements. Through a specialized high-temperature heat treatment process, aluminum migrates to the surface and combines with oxygen to form aluminum oxide, creating a durable insulated skin 20-30 micrometers thick.
- Smooth finish for consistent performance
- Low maintenance requirements
- Easy to install and operate
- Superior quality construction
- Extended service life
- Special heat-treated alloy with hard insulated surface
- Cost-effective solution with reasonable lifespan
- Stable performance with air flow
- Tapered guide pin tip for stable nut insertion and retention
- Available in various models to suit different applications
The KCF material features an insulated surface layer measuring 20-30 micrometers thick, providing excellent electrical insulation while maintaining structural integrity. The tapered tip design ensures reliable nut positioning during welding operations.
The lower electrode assembly for weld nuts consists of three integrated components:
- KCF Guide Pin
- Lower Electrode
- Lower Electrode Holder
