We bring forth Cross Partition Ring, which is an improved design over the basic raschig ring. The improved element is a cross partition in the raschig ring. This structure of these rings is helpful in enlarging the surface and improving efficiency of transfers. Moreover, the large size of these rings can only be used in structured packing.
