How It Works (The Mechanism)

The mechanism is a simple and effective screw-based elevator system:

1. Twist Knob: When you turn the knob at the bottom of the tube, it rotates a threaded plastic screw.

2. Platform (Lift Plate): This screw is connected to a platform that the deodorant sits on.

3. Elevator Effect: As the screw turns, it pushes the platform steadily upward.

4. Dispensing: The solid deodorant emerges from the top of the tube for use. Turning the knob in the reverse direction lowers the platform, though this is usually prevented by a one-way clutch mechanism to avoid wasting product.
