Step 1: Preparation

• Blow your nose gently to clear your nasal passages of mucus.

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

• Shake the bottle if the instructions direct you to do so.

• Prime the pump if it's a new bottle or hasn't been used in a while. Point the spray away from yourself and press down a few times until a fine mist appears.
