Brackish water, according to the organic content can be devided into surface water and ground water . surface water we can reverse osmosis system mating with relative sterilization system , ground water we can direct use reverse osmosis system , if Iron and Manganese overpass the inlet condition of RO ,we need add Manganese sand filter for pretreatment system , here also include the specific inlet conditon of RO system for reference.

Raw water pump ► Quartz sand filter ► Activated carbon filter ► Security filter ► High-pressure pump ► RO system + Alkaline Filter + Coconut shell carbon filter

1. Quartz sand filter: use fiber glass as housing, fill quartz sand, it can filter big particles impurities, suspended substances, colloids etc. Important to remove iron and sediments you mentioned;^^

2. Activated carbon filter: use fiber glass as housing, fill activated carbon, remove color, odor, residual chlorine and organics substances;

3. Security filter: prevent large particles, bacteria, viruses into RO membrane, accuracy is 5µm;

4. RO system: can remove particles, colloids, organic impurities, heavy metal ions, bacteria, virus, heat source etc. harmful substances and 99% dissolved salts.

5. Alkaline Filter: use stainless steel as housing, fill alkaline ball inside, can be done for PH 7-10 alkaline drinking water.

6. Coconut shell carbon filter: use stainless steel as housing, fill coconut shell carbon inside, remove color, odor, residual chlorine and organics substances;

7. PP Filter Cartridge: Intercept >1µm accuracy large particles, bacteria, viruses. (optional)

8. Folding filter Cartridge: Intercept >0.22µm accuracy large particles, bacteria, viruses. (optional)

There are several kinds of consumables you need to replace regularly. 
a. Quartz sand: replaced about every 15 months. 50kg/bag
b. Activated carbon: replaced about every 15 months. 25kg/bag
c. Resin: replaced about every 15 months. 25L/bag
d. PP Filter cartridge: replaced about every 1 month
