This is 31mm DC brushed motor with worm gearbox.

The DC motor has 31mm diameter, rated voltage is 24V DC.

The motor has about 5200 RPM unload speed without gearbox, it’s assembled with gearbox.

Output speed=motor’s speed/gearbox ratio.

The gearbox used is a worm gearbox.

A worm gearbox has few features:

1. Self locking function: when motor’s power off, output shaft is locked. Outer force is not able to rotate output shaft.

2. Output shaft is perpendicular to motor's shaft

3. Worm gearbox has low efficiency, thus output torque is lower compared to other gearbox types.
