Galvanized Gabion Mattresses are rectangular erosion control structures constructed from heavily galvanized, double-twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh. These single-unit baskets are assembled, laced together, and filled with stone to form durable monolithic structures for various civil engineering applications.

Multiple mesh configurations available:

All sizes and dimensions are nominal. Tolerances of ±3% of the width, length, and ±2.5 cm of the height shall be permitted.

Our standard PVC coated, galvanized gabion baskets are constructed of 3-mm or 4-mm steel wire - either woven or welded, depending on strength requirements. We also offer Mini Gabions in standard 2 m, 3 m, and 4 m lengths, measuring 0.5 m high by 0.5 m deep.
