Construction Features
Manufactured from double twisted hexagonal woven mesh with specialized lacing procedures that ensure structural integrity. Standard zinc galvanizing provides corrosion resistance, with optional PVC coating available for enhanced durability in harsh environments.
Installation Process
Step 1: Preparation
Unfold mattress on flat, hard ground and remove kinks. Lift side and end panels upright, securing with selvedge wire ties.
Step 2: Assembly
Attach vertical edges of internal diaphragms to sides using tying wire or approved interlocking fasteners.
Step 3: Positioning
Align assembled mattress in required position and fasten to adjacent units along selvedge wire. Position internal diaphragms perpendicular to slope direction or water flow.
Step 4: Stone Filling
Place stone into compartments, starting from bottom on slopes. Multiple mattresses can be filled simultaneously.
Step 5: Lid Placement
Sequence installation with stone filling crew ahead of lid placement. Securely fasten lids to side-tops, end panels, and inner partitions.
Step 6: Custom Shaping
Telescope or cut mattresses to required shapes for curved applications. For sharp curves, cut diagonally into triangular sections and secure open sides.
