Rockfall Protection Wire Mesh is a steel woven hexagonal opening wire mesh specifically engineered to prevent rocks and debris from falling onto critical infrastructure such as roads, railways, and construction sites.
Product Construction
Constructed from heavily zinc-coated, Galfan (ZincAl), Heavy Zinc+PVC or Galfan+PVC coated double twisted steel woven wire. The unique double twist design ensures structural integrity is maintained even when individual wires break.
Key Features
- Installed by unrolling or draping over slopes and securing with anchor bolts
- Effectively captures falling rocks and debris at the slope base
- Optional high-strength cable securing at both top and bottom of slope
- Lower cable can be loosened for safe debris removal when needed
- Collected debris can be contained in a properly dimensioned trench
