Silicone Coated Fiberglass Welding Blankets consist of fiberglass material coated with silicone rubber, making it extremely flexible as well as fire resistant. The fiberglass has a melting point of around 2,000 degrees F. The Silicone coating resists temperatures of approx. 500 degrees F.
