The core of the bottom plug also made of special materials such as Plastic, Aluminium or Phenolic depending on the application and well conditions.
API Oilfield Non-Rotating Downhole Wiper Plug Features
- Available in Pressure Rating from 3,500 PSI up to 8,000 PSI.
- A rubber diaphragm at the top of the plug ruptures after the plug is seated allowing cement to flow through.
- Made of special elastomeric blend that has a good temperature resistance of up to 250°C (482 °F).
- Manufactured for a standard Burst pressure of 300 PSI and can be adjusted to suit customer requirements
- Normal and non-rotating type can be available
- The non-rotating type can save the drilling time
