sucker-rod pumps are a key component of a sucker-rod lift type of artificial lift system.
Sucker rod pump is equipped with a seating nipple, seating nipple connection on the tubing string, down to the bottom of the well with the tubing string.
There is a wide range of plunger (or pump-bore) sizes standardized by the industry. The API pump-bore sizes that are currently available range from 1 1/16 to 3 3/4 in. in diameter. This 1 1/16-in. size has been added back in the latest edition of the standard.
The plungers always are plain surface if no special request. There are the grooves on the plungers surface, these grooves are called sand grooves.
Plunger material:
1045 steel spraying (B1), 1045 steel spraying (B2), 1045 steel chrome plating (A1), 1045 steel double chrome plating (A2).
