RTTS Mechanical Set Retrievable Casing Packer
The 5" RTTS Type Casing Packer is a mechanical slip packer designed for reliable performance in demanding oilfield downhole applications.
Applications
This packer is primarily used for formation testing in high temperature and pressure environments, oil extraction, water injection, water exploration, plugging, squeezing acidification, and fracturing operations.
Structure and Operation
The RTTS packer features a comprehensive design including hydraulic anchor, rubber barrel, slip holder, slip, slip bracket, reversing friction block, outer central pipe, inner central pipe, and upper joint. It operates as a unidirectional slip-supported packer that is set by pulling, turning, and lowering operations, and released by pulling the column.
