Product Overview
The Junk Sub (Fishing Cup) is designed to catch and remove heavy debris that cannot be circulated out of oil wells, preventing settlement at the bottom of the well-bore. This tool effectively collects shivers, fallen carbide teeth, drill bits, and bearings that are too heavy for conventional fluid circulation removal.

Working Principle
The larger outer diameter of the external bowl reduces space between the bowl and well hole, directing most fluid through the cup. The mandrel's increased diameter at the cup mouth creates larger annular space, generating fluid swirl at the cup mouth. As fluid flows downward with sudden capacity reduction at the bottom, heavy objects drop into the cup for retrieval.
Construction & Materials
Junk Subs are manufactured from high-strength 4140HT or 4145M alloy steel, ensuring durability in demanding downhole conditions. Standard units feature welded assemblies with 10-inch deep cups, while long and extra-long baskets provide 20-inch or 30-inch deep cups.
