BOP System Casing Cup Tester with NC31 NC38 NC50 Connections for 10,000 PSI Pressure Testing
The casing cup tester, also known as a test plug, is engineered for attachment to the drill string and insertion into casing beneath the wellhead to conduct pressure tests on blowout preventer stacks and wellhead assemblies.
After positioning the cup tester in the casing below the wellhead, pressure is applied either through a test pump or by hoisting the cup assembly after water filling. The hoisting method provides rapid and precise testing capabilities.
Cup tester assemblies are rated to API standard mill test pressures for casing sizes up to 10,000 psi. Special reinforcement options are available for all cup sizes and casing weight ranges to withstand pressures up to 15,000 psi.
