Description

The GVD-QSFP-40G-ACU10M is a passive copper direct attach cable (DAC) with quad SFP+ connectors on one end and a single QSFP+ connector on the other end. The fanout cable has 1m length on each segment. The assembly provides short distance (same shelf) inexpensive connectivity at up to 40G data rates and can be used to interconnect 40G and 10G ports. It operates 4 independent 10G channels using the QSFP connector footprint on one end and 4 independent SFP+ transceivers of 10Gbps each. Each of the four channels can operate at multi-rate speeds Gigabit to 10G (1 Gbps to 10.3125Gbps). Cable has been tested and found compatible with most major brand networking vendors (including Cisco, Juniper, HP and Edge-Core TOR switches).
