- July 1990: Mr. Zhang Shigong founded Shanxi Jiexiu Shida Carbon Co, Ltd.
- August 2004: Mr. Zhang Sigong founded Guanghan Shida Carbon Co., Ltd.
- June 2004: Wholly-owned subsidiary Dechang Shida Carbon Co., Ltd founded.
- Nov 2005: Wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Shida Trading Co., Ltd founded.
- Aug 2008: Guanghan Shida Carbon Co., Ltd reformed share-holding structure, and renamed as Sichuan Guanghan Shida Carbon Co., Ltd.
- Sep 2009: Wholly-owned subsidiary Meishan Shida New Materials Co., Ltd founded.
- Dec 2009: Wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Shida Fine Carbon Co., Ltd founded.
- May 2010: Meishan Shida’s 20,000mt/year 550mm and above UHP graphite electrode project been included in National Torch Program.
