Sichuan Guanghan Shida Carbon Co., Lts was established in 2001, formerly the Shanxi Jiexiu Shida Carbon which was founded by Mr Zhang Shigong in 1990.
The highest level of energy saving and environmental protection: By our independent integration and innovation, the car-bottom baking furnace was creatively designed and built with a tail gas incineration and waste-heat power generation system, which effectively solved the pollution problems.
History and layout of Shida Carbon:
- July 1990: Mr. Zhang Shigong founded Shanxi Jiexiu Shida Carbon Co, Ltd.
- August 2004: Mr. Zhang Sigong founded Guanghan Shida Carbon Co., Ltd.
- March 2012: Meishan Shida’s 3500mt extruder and German made vibration forming machine officially started operation
- August 2012: Dechang Shida’s 5000mt/year isotropic graphite graphitization and purification unit started operation
- Aug 2012: Shida Fine Carbon’s car bottom furnace officially started operation
- Aug 2013: Shida Carbon gained two appraisements of sci-tech achievements from Sichuan Science and Technology Department
- End of 2013: Stopped production due to debt crisis
- Sep 2017: Settlement reached with most creditors, debt crisis largely resolved, and the three main projects entered recovering stage
- June-Aug 2018: Strategic investor introduced, Shida Carbon recovered production of all processes
