1. Working Principle

Vortex Flowmeter is a volume Flowmeter which is produced according to Carmen vortex principle to measure the volume flow rate of gas, steam or liquid, the volume flow rate of standard condition or the mass flow rate. Mainly used in industrial pipeline medium fluid flow measurement, such as gas, liquid, steam and other media.

It is characterized by small pressure loss, large range and high precision, and is almost unaffected by fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and other parameters when measuring volume flow under working conditions. No moving mechanical parts, so high reliability, small maintenance. Instrument parameters can be stable for a long time. Vortex Flowmeter adopts piezoelectric stress sensor with high reliability and can work in the working temperature range of -20℃~250℃. There are analog standard signals, but also digital pulse signal output, easy to use with computer and other digital systems, is a more advanced, ideal measuring instrument.

5. Design and installation

It is very important to install the instrument, if not properly installed, it will affect the accuracy, service life and damage.

1. In order to avoid switch sets with strong power, high frequency and high power, the meter power supply should be kept away from these devices.

2. Avoid high temperature and radiation sources. If installation is required, take heat insulation ventilation measures.

3. In order to avoid high temperature and enchanted gas, ventilation measures should be taken if installation is required.

4. Vortex flowmeter should not be installed on the part of pipe shaking. If it must be installed on it, a clamping device and a vibration pad located in 2D should be added to enhance the shock resistance. It is better for the instrument to be installed indoors and outdoors, and pay attention to water proof. Pay special attention to the joints, make the cable lead u-shaped, so as to avoid water entering the amplifier body. Enough space should be saved at the installation place to facilitate the installation of the connection line and daily maintenance.
