Precision Granite Surface Plates & Lab Tables
Precision granite surface plates are manufactured to meet or exceed Federal Specification GGG-P-463c tolerances. Each plate includes a calibration certificate guaranteeing overall surface flatness and repetitive gage measurements, traceable to N.I.S.T. or equivalent national/international organizations. Long-form certification is also available.
Material Advantages
These plates are constructed from premium black granite, which offers superior strength, density, and stability compared to lighter colored granite. Our granite surface plates adhere to advanced international standards with flatness tolerance in accordance with JB/T 7975-1999 Surface Plate specifications:
- Grade 000 = 1×(1+d/1000) μm
- Grade 00 = 2×(1+d/1000) μm
- Grade 0 = 4×(1+d/1000) μm
- Grade 1 = 8×(1+d/1000) μm
