Application & Usage Guidelines
Ø13×75mm ESR Tube: Specifically designed for automated erythrocyte sedimentation rate analyzers with 1:4 sodium citrate to blood ratio.
Ø9×120mm ESR Tube: Compatible with various automated erythrocyte sedimentation rate analyzers.
Proper Usage Instructions
- Contains 3.8% sodium citrate solution for sedimentation testing
- Blood to liquid additive volume ratio is 4:1
- Do not use as the first tube for blood collection
- Invert tube 5-6 times immediately after blood collection
- Invert tube several times before conducting experiments
- Allow sufficient time for complete blood collection due to negative pressure
- Mix anticoagulant and additive thoroughly by turning tube upside down 6-8 times
- Inadequate mixing may cause hemolysis, coagulation, or blood bubbles affecting test results
