Operating Instructions

Perform hand hygiene and put on gloves if necessary
Gently insert swab along nasal septum to nasopharynx until resistance is met
Rotate swab gently against nasopharyngeal mucosa for 10-15 seconds
Place swab into virus transport medium tube to the bottom
Hold tube away from face and bend swab shaft at 180° angle to break at marked point
Replace tube cap securely
Store at 4-25°C for no more than 4 days

Note: Nasal and pharyngeal swabs can be collected from the same sample tube to improve separation rate and reduce workload.
