The vacuum feeder is an efficient material conveying device that uses a vacuum pump to draw air from the silo, creating a negative pressure environment. the action of atmospheric pressure, materials are sucked from the suction port through the suction pipe and conveying pipeline into the silo. It is mainly composed of a vacuum pump suction nozzle, pipeline, silo and level sensor, etc. It has the advantages of high conveying efficiency, no dust leakage, simple operation and high degree of automation which can effectively improve production efficiency and improve the working environment. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries to achieve automatic conveying of various powd and granular materials.
Working principle
After the vacuum feeder is started, the vacuum pump quickly draws the air in the hopper, forming a negative pressure. Under the action of atmospheric, the material is pressed into the suction pipe from the suction port and enters the hopper along the conveying pipeline. When the material in the hopper reaches the high, the level sensor sends a signal to stop the vacuum pump and pause the feeding; when the material is reduced to the low level, the sensor is triggered again, vacuum pump is restarted, and a new round of conveying begins, and so on, to achieve the automatic conveying of the material.
