Spray drying is the most widely applied process in liquid processing and drying industries. This technology is ideal for producing solid powder or practical products from various liquid materials including solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pumpable pastes. The process ensures precise control over particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape to meet exacting standards.
Filtered and heated air enters through an air distributor at the top of the dryer, flowing in a uniform spiral pattern into the drying chamber. Material liquid is sprayed through a high-speed centrifugal atomizer, creating extremely fine mist droplets that contact the hot air for rapid drying. Final products discharge continuously from the bottom, while waste gases are exhausted through the blower system.
