When a vehicle approaches the device at a certain speed, its front wheel first contacts and rolls onto the ramp structure on the front face of the device.
The ramp guides the wheel upward. At the same time, the internal lever mechanism is activated by the force, lifting the front wheel further off the ground. At this point, the front of the vehicle loses its forward driving support.
The vehicle's forward kinetic energy is redirected. Since the front wheel is lifted, the horizontal forward force is converted into vertical downward pressure, transmitted to the base of the device and the ground.
The remaining impact energy is transferred to the dual buffer modules at the base. The buffer modules absorb most of the impact energy through elastic deformation, effectively reducing the instantaneous impact force and minimizing injury to both vehicle occupants and personnel.
Finally, the specially designed wear-resistant rubber pad at the base creates high friction with the ground. The high friction coefficient of the rubber pad prevents the vehicle from continuing forward, bringing it to a smooth stop.
