IP68 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer For Seawater And Freshwater Aquaculture
Dissolved Oxygen Sensor With RS485 For Seawater And Freshwater Aquaculture
Dissolved oxygen sensor OPD700 in aquaculture is a device used to monitor the concentration of dissolved oxygen in water. Using the principle of electrochemical sensing, the electrochemical reaction of oxygen on the surface of the electrode is used to measure the content of dissolved oxygen.
The detection of dissolved oxygen sensors in aquaculture is very necessary for aquaculture management. It can ensure the health and growth of aquatic organisms, maintain the ecological balance of water bodies, prevent water hypoxia, and improve aquaculture and economic benefits.
The working principle of the sensor is usually based on the diffusion process of oxygen in water. A sensor usually includes two electrodes, a working electrode and a reference electrode. In the electrochemical reaction, oxygen is reduced to oxygen ions, and a certain current is induced on the electrode surface. This current is proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the water. By measuring the current on the working electrode, the dissolved oxygen content in the water body can be inferred.
To ensure accurate measurements, dissolved oxygen sensors in aquaculture require regular calibration and maintenance. In addition, factors such as temperature, salinity, and pH in the water body will also affect the performance of the sensor, and corresponding corrections are required.
The sensor can be connected with a data logger or automatic control system to monitor the dissolved oxygen concentration in the water body in real time.
