Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR) bare overhead conductor designed for power distribution lines with voltage ratings from 600-1000V up to 35KV. This conductor features a unique construction with aluminum 1350 H-19 wires concentrically stranded around a 6201-T81 aluminum alloy core.

ACAR utilizes aluminum 1350 H-19 wires concentrically stranded around a 6201-T81 aluminum alloy core. In certain designs, both materials may be stranded in the same layer for optimal performance.
