Drilling BOP/ Side Open type Ram workover BOP With API Standard

‘Side open’ type blowout preventers are specially designed and developed for workover application. There are two side plates which fixed on opposite of BOP body by bolt. Ram shall be changed by opening the side plate. The ‘Side open’ type BOP is available in either flanged or studded design. In particular, the studded top and bottom configuration is optimal on smaller rigs due to its compact design and reduced weight. Budget saving can be realized on this model due to the specially design to combine 3000psi and 5000psi on one BOP.
