Extruded Fin Tube Technology
In heat exchangers, fluid types, heat transfer surface areas, fluid velocity, and pressure play critical roles. To enhance heat transfer surface area, fins are formed by extrusion on tube surfaces using specialized machinery. This process creates fins with specified thickness, height, and pitch, significantly increasing the heat transfer surface of the tube.
Extrusion involves forming fins by extruding the tube outer surface, resulting in increased heat transfer capacity. Our engineering team designs fins in the most suitable configuration for each process, considering efficiency calculations and optimal product costs while adhering to environmental conditions and safety standards.

Manufacturing Process
Extruded fin tubes are produced by compressing an aluminum tube or sleeve onto the base tube. The bloom is exposed to very high pressures that essentially "grow" the fins into the final fin profiles. This process creates an excellent strong joint with high fin stiffness and exceptional heat transfer capabilities.
The manufacturing process ensures full protection of the bare tube against corrosion while providing fins with high mechanical strength. Extruded finned tubes deliver the most stable performance over time compared to other fin types.
