The embedded fin design involves inserting and welding fins into helical grooves cut into the tube walls. This construction method provides superior performance in high thermal cycling environments and applications requiring regular cleaning.

Manufacturing Process
Fin strips are rolled into a uniform taper and helically wound into plowed grooves in the tube wall. Simultaneous backfilling with rotating discs locks the fins securely to the tube without removing tube material, creating an excellent bond with high pull-out resistance.
