Weighing scale glass is made of toughened glass. Strong and sturdy to hold 180kg.

Thickness can be 4mm, 5mm, 6mm. Generally it's 5mm.

Edge is processed to be flat edge or round edge for safety.

Please Note :

The specification of weighing scale glass should be confirmed before put the sheet glass into the toughening furnace, the

tempered glass can't be cut anymore after out of the toughening furnace, otherwise it will be broken.

Weighing scale glass manufacturing process

Toughened glass is thermally stronger than the normal glass. The glass undergoes intense stress due to which, the strength of glass increases. This glass is made through thermal tempering process where the annealed glass is heated at or above 720 degrees and soon after it reaches the heating point, cooling process is performed. The glass thus becomes strong and stressed.
