Gear is a common part in mechanical transmission, with strong bearing capacity and durability. The gear used by laser chuck can be divided into straight gear and helical gear. The advantage of helical gear is that it can run smoothly and has low noise. Because only part of each eating surface of helical gear participates in meshing process, or it is understood that each tooth gradually participates in meshing and will not produce large vibration, so the noise is low. A helical gear with the same modulus and width has a higher bearing capacity than a spur gear, because in this case the effective tooth width of the helical gear is larger.
