T-LOC™ is a reinforced aluminum termination system designed to prevent aluminum ferrule splitting, especially when used with heavy-duty thimbles. Approved for grade 2160 wire ropes, this carbon steel reinforcement ring is swaged together with standard turnback ferrules (type T).

Designed specifically for rotation-resistant wire ropes of grade 2160, particularly in combination with solid thimble eyes. The system has been tested with rotation-resistant wire ropes in class 35(W) x 7 and validated according to EN 13411-3 standards. Tested constructions include 34(W) x K7 and 39(W) x K7-WSC with fill factors of 0.74-0.75.
Ideal for high tensile wire rope applications where grade 2160 ropes create higher splitting forces than normal. The carbon steel construction provides superior tensile strength compared to aluminum, preventing ferrule splitting caused by pressure on the wider top angle of sling eyes.
No new dies required - T-LOC™ is swaged using existing dies along with aluminum ferrules. During swaging, components join seamlessly. Only aluminum T ferrules may be used with T-LOC™. For wire ropes with different constructions and fill factors, testing is recommended to verify application strength.
