Ideal for ores where copper grade is lower than nickel. The resulting copper-nickel concentrate is smelted into high-grade nickel matte.
First separates copper-nickel from ore, then isolates low-grade nickel and copper concentrate from the mixed concentration. Nickel concentrate is smelted into high-grade nickel matte, which is further separated via flotation.
When ore contains multiple floatable nickel minerals, this process recovers less floatable nickel minerals from tailings after initial flotation.
Utilizes specialized collectors and foaming agents for nickel ore with copper sulfide. The primary objective is to minimize nickel content in copper concentrate. When copper grade exceeds nickel, copper can be separated as copper concentrate with minimal nickel content.
